General Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy

Rates, Supplements & Minimum Stay

• The applicable rates & supplements can be found on our website www.haciendaeltarajal.com.
  (We reserve the right to change rates at any time)
• All prices are per accommodation (room, suite, or studio) & per night.
• Prices exclude breakfast & include taxes.
• A minimum stay of 2 nights per booking is required. (Not applicable when renting Hacienda El Tarajal in its entirety)

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Terms for Individual Room, Suite, or Studio Bookings

• Bookings can be made directly on the website www.haciendaeltarajal.com, via email to info@haciendaeltarajal.com, or through one of our external partners.
• Your booking is considered final once payment is received.
• At check-in, a credit card is required as a guarantee for any additional expenses. At check-out, the amount of all extras (such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, etc.) must be paid in cash or by credit card (Maestro, Visa, or Mastercard).
• You can cancel your booking up to 21 days before the check-in date (an administration fee of €100 per booked accommodation will be charged in case of cancellation).
• If you cancel your booking 21 days or less before the check-in date, an amount equal to the full booking amount will be charged. In case of a no-show or booking reduction (after the check-in date), the full cost of the booking will be charged.
• If Hacienda El Tarajal is forced to cancel your booking for any reason, you will receive a refund of your reservation payment.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Terms for rental of “Hacienda El Tarajal” in its entirety

• The exclusive rental of “Hacienda El Tarajal” is possible for up to 12 people, children under 12 years old are allowed. (The full responsibility for supervising children lies with the guests. Due to the mountainous location & the presence of the pool, utmost attention is required.)
• A minimum stay of 7 nights is required.
• Contact us via email (info@haciendaeltarajal.com) for rates, possibilities, and availability.
  • Your booking is considered final once payment is made according to the following terms
    Upon booking: payment of a 30% deposit of the booking amount.
  • At least 60 days before check-in: payment of the remaining 70% of the booking amount.
• At check-in, a credit card is required as a guarantee for any additional expenses. At check-out, the remaining amount of all extras (such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, etc.) must be paid in cash or by credit card (Maestro, Visa, or Mastercard).
• You can cancel your booking up to 90 days before the check-in date (an administration fee of 250€ will be charged in case of cancellation).
• If you cancel your booking 90 to 60 days before the check-in date, an amount equal to 50% of the full booking amount will be charged.
• If you cancel your booking 60 days or less before the check-in date, an amount equal to the full booking amount will be charged. In case of a no-show or booking reduction (after the check-in date), the full cost of the booking will be charged.
• If Hacienda El Tarajal is forced to cancel your booking for any reason, you will receive a refund of your reservation payment.

Check-in and Check-out Times

• Check-in is possible from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. If you can’t check-in within reception opening hours, we can arrange check-in by appointment between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. A late check-out, until 6:00 PM, is possible subject to availability. A supplement of 50% of the accommodation price will be charged for this.

Children

• Hacienda El Tarajal strives to offer a serene & relaxing environment for all its guests. Therefore, an adults-only policy is in place, with teenagers from 12 years old being welcome. Normally, we do not accept children under 12 years old unless the house is booked privately.

Smoking Policy

• Hacienda El Tarajal is smoke-free. This means smoking is not allowed in the rooms, suites, studios, on the common & private terraces, in the restaurant, bar, and at the pool. If you are a smoker, please inquire upon arrival where smoking may be allowed.

Pets

• Besides our house dog & cats, you can spot many wonderful animals here. However we can’t welcome your pets at Hacienda El Tarajal for practical reasons.

Special Requests

• If you have a special request (such as room preference, allergies, extra pillows, etc.), please inform us at the time of booking. While we do our best to meet your wishes, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill your request.

Responsibilities

• Participation in any activities during your stay at Hacienda El Tarajal is entirely at your own risk. Hacienda El Tarajal can’t accept responsibility for actions of third parties in & around its property.

Personal Belongings

• We recommend not storing valuable items in your accommodation during your stay. Any (small) valuable items can be stored in the hotel safe. We accept no liability for theft of items during your stay in any of our accommodations.

Privacy Policy

• Hacienda El Tarajal needs your personal data to provide its reservation services. These data will be automatically processed and stored in our own files, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU-2016/679 of 27 April 2016, to provide you with the offered services.

Use of Personal Data

• Hacienda El Tarajal informs you that your data will be treated confidentially and used only internally for the aforementioned purposes & for news and/or promotions concerning Hacienda El Tarajal. Under no circumstances your data will be made available to third parties unless you give us the permission or there is a legal obligation to do so.

Code of Conduct

• Hacienda El Tarajal reserves the right to terminate your stay - or that of a member of your party - at any time if it deems certain behavior harmful to the safety and/or well-being of the staff and/or other guests of Hacienda El Tarajal.
• No refunds will be given and Hacienda El Tarajal has not the obligation to cover any costs that may result from this.
• Hacienda El Tarajal reserves the right to charge for any damage, whether intentional or not, caused by the guest to the accommodation, its furnishings & the surrounding grounds. Damage means any damage reasonably considered greater than that caused by "daily wear and tear."

Liability

• Unless otherwise stated in these terms, Hacienda El Tarajal can’t accept liability if the performance of contractual obligations is prevented or affected by "force majeure." "Force majeure" means any event that, even with due care, can’t be foreseen and/or avoided. Such events may include riots, civil war, disputes, nuclear or natural disasters, epidemics, extremely adverse weather conditions, fire, and all similar events.
• Hacienda El Tarajal is free to cancel bookings if, on the reservation dates, it is not possible for the hotel to open because national or international law dictates that buildings must remain closed.
• We advise you to book a ‘travel and cancellation insurance’.

Applicable Law

• All matters relating to your booking are subject to Spanish law. By booking, you agree to this.
