A life-changing decision

Sometimes one decision changes everything. For us, it was the moment we chose to leave Belgium and start a new life in Andalusia. After more than twenty years running an interior design business, we longed for peace, nature and the joy of welcoming guests into a place that feels like home.

Discovering Hacienda El Tarajal

When we discovered Hacienda El Tarajal, nestled among centuries-old olive trees with spectacular views of the Sierras Subbéticas UNESCO Geopark, we instantly knew this was the place. Time seems to slow down here — something many travellers seek but rarely find.

Creating our boutique B&B

Transforming the hacienda into a boutique bed & breakfast was intense but incredibly rewarding. We designed every room and outdoor space with care, aiming to offer comfort, authenticity and tranquillity. A place where guests can disconnect from the world and reconnect with themselves.
